The moment I walked into the hotel and reception area, I felt welcomed, and felt calm and at ease. Check-in was smooth and the lady was friendly and polite. They give you a map of the 7th area and beyond and explain about local attractions and buses etc - very nice touch. My room was wonderful: clean, spacious, well-designed with plenty of air flow due to two sliding doors. A muslin curtain plus the main heavy blue outer one to use at night. Although I kept the door slighty open during the night for air and the muslin curtain was useful to keep any bugs out! The bathroom was also very clean, and everything was in working order. Nuxe products were available, from shampoo, conditioner and body lotion (the honey smell was divine and will stay in my memory). This touch made my stay feel a little luxurious, but not OTT. Bed was a great size, super compfy and duvet was the ideal tog for this time of year. Bedding was once again spotless and clean. Plenty of lighting is in the room from bedside lights (X2 each side), a floor and a desk lamp. TV was a good size although I used my laptop most of the time. Large wardrobe with more than enough space, and I had a mini-fridge in my room. Perfect for my water, juice, fromage and yoghurts! There is a Nespresso coffee machine there for caffeine lovers. The breakfast was excellent and there was a wide range of foods: scrambled eggs with bacon and sausages, to tasty yogurts, fresh salami and hams, to cereals, pastries and fresh and dried fruits. I honestly could not fault this delightful hidden gem, and I will certainly be back. Must book soon! Thank you to each and every staff member, for making me feel more than welcomed :)

I chose the hotel primarily due to the proximity to the Le Petit Nice restaurant where we were about to have dinner that night. The plan worked out, as the hotel is just an easy 10 minutes’ walk to the said restaurant. However, the hotel has much more to offer. The property is a compound of several buildings with rooms in different categories. The central space is a neat garden and a terrace with shady spots to relax and beat off some of the summer heat. Same goes for the pool that is conveniently located in the back part of the property, so the noises of kids playing don’t disturb the quaintness of the place. The room felt very new and quite stylish and came with all amenities expected, including a mini bar for keeping cool a bottle of wine. Overall, the place felt nice, relaxed and had a very positive vibe to it.

Beautiful property and great staff. Special Mention to the girl on the bar the night we arrived then breakfast the next morning, she was rushed off of her feet but kept smiling and working very hard

Craig

Breakfast was very nice, if a bit expensive. But the ease and amount of options made it worth it. The staff was very friendly and helpful in resolving any issues we had.

A surprising oasis inside the streets of Marseille. Lovely garden. We enjoyed our breakfasts outside and drinks on the deck. A good walk up to the local cathedral.
